Brenda Shaughnessy is the author of four collections of poetry, most recently So Much Synth (Copper Canyon, 2016). Her book Our Andromeda was a New York Times Notable Book of 2013, as well as a finalist for the Griffin International Prize and the Kingsley Tufts Award. Her work has appeared in Best American Poetry, Harpers, McSweeney’s, The New York Times, The New Yorker, O Magazine, Paris Review, Poetry, and elsewhere. She is Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at Rutgers University-Newark.
